At Coastlines we are aware of the huge impact the surf industry is having on our planet. We believe in transparency and acknowledge that we are not perfect. Sustainability is an inbuilt mindset and is at the core of our design. Whether our impact is smaller ripples or larger waves, our goal is to contribute to the flow of change.
Coastline restoration
Our coastlines are a precious natural resource that need our attention and protection. We have partnered with SeaTrees, pledging to restore 1 square foot of coastline for every product sold.
Our current project we are supporting is based in Maui, Hawaii.
Who is Seatrees?
SeaTrees is a program of the 501c3 non-profit Sustainable Surf that plants, protects, and restores blue carbon coastal ecosystems around the world to reverse climate change. We develop coastal restoration projects, also known as blue carbon projects, across five ecosystem types: mangrove forests, kelp forests, seagrass meadows, coral reefs, and coastal watersheds.
SeaTrees funds this work through donations from brands and individuals who are committed to reversing climate change, and creating sustainable livelihoods for local communities.
Our pledge
For every Coastlines product sold we'll donate to restore one square foot of coastal blue carbon ecosystem.
